I never once believed any of those things and everyone who actually knew me understood that. At almost 57 mph, the semi driver was following way to close at one second following distance. Use the SMITH system, it works! Granted, the pickup driver clearly caused the accident, but the semi drivers actions played a big part in that, too. Had he been following the rule of 1 second for every ten feet of length of his vehicle, plus an additional 1 second for being over 55 mph, he would have had 8 seconds of following distance, which would have given the pickup somewhere to go and not resulting in the other truck having his truck and trailer damaged and out of work until fixed. It's called consequences for your actions.

Looks like the white truck came up on a stopped or slow going semi in front of him & tried to get in the other lane to avoid hitting it dorectly but had/caused another accident.

ハザードも付けてないトラックも悪いし。 ウインカーも付けず、左車線からはトラック来てるのに無理に割り込んできたのが悪いな。 トラックがもう少し距離が離れてれば譲れるが、この動画みたいな至近距離じゃ無理だわ。 このお爺ちゃん災難だな。　 後、工事か何かをやってるっぽいが、誘導する人とか居ないのか？

He had to stick his thumb inside his neck and plug the bleed while his dad took him to the hospital. No time to wait for paramedics. The doctor said he would have bled out before he was even half way to the hospital without that thumb. At the hospital, they actually had to Crack his ribcage open to get all of the serious shrapnel out of his neck and chest. He had a whole bunch of injuries, but that was the worst. What happened was he was firing SLAP rounds he bought online. And the one round had way too much powder in it. So the chamber on his Serbu turned into a frag grenade. Serbu did a full investigation of the accident to make sure it was nothing to do with their guns. But it's worth watching this AND his channel if you like guns and have never heard if it. And, if I can get Scott a few more viewers, it's the least I can do after all of the great (and expensive) content he's made. I mean, I had no idea there's a rifle that shoots .95 caliber, 2000 grain bullets.

The pickup still a had sticker on the window, test drive gone horribly wrong. Sales person probably distracting the driver about features and the guy never sees the trucker.
